Hailing from Bragg Creek, Alberta, a short distance from Calgary, Dennis has 20+ years’ experience in communications, human resources and leadership, and offers a unique perspective on organizational effectiveness and behaviour. He also has extensive knowledge of the necessary tools to effect change, with a particular focus on talent acquisition and engagement strategies. Dennis is now excited to offer these competencies to Nuuvo-B2E clients, wherever they may be.
Dennis and Howard’s business relationship started in 1999 when Dennis joined RecruitAd as Western Canada practice leader, a role he continued when the firm rebranded as OriginHR, and where he also led the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Managed Vendor Services (MVS) lines of business after the 2008 acquisition of OriginHR’s parent by the Randstad Group of Companies. In 2010, Dennis founded BrickhouseHR with the mandate to help drive organizational and employee success through improved engagement, facilitated through practical and innovative HR communications tools and strategies. His goal is to enable his clients to communicate effectively and consistently with their talent communities.
In addition to his experience in HR communications and employer branding disciplines, Dennis offers expertise in media services and recruitment process optimization, as well as internal communications to facilitate employee engagement, compensation and/or organizational development.
Over the years, Dennis has been a guest lecturer and featured writer for professional groups such as the Human Resources Institute of Alberta, the Calgary Human Resources Association, Mount Royal University and the Human Resources Association of Canadian Engineers.
Mazen started his advertising career over 20 years ago with DDB and EURO RSCG . He became the Marketing and Communications Manager for Alcatel mobile Phones, managing the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia, which gave him more fly-time than the average flight attendant. He left the company after preparing the brand for the transition into the company’s merger with TCL in China.
Maz immigrated to Canada In 2005 and used his knowledge and experience to establish a media buying and International marketing consultancy. His first client was Howard’s firm, where they worked on international recruitment advertising campaigns in several international markets for RecruitAd clients. Mazen recently served as the resident media expert for a Toronto-based advertising agency, which provided him with more in-depth knowledge of the Canadian market.
Which brings us to today, where Maz has recently founded and currently operates and manages Aligned Communications, an accredited media solutions agency established to create tailored solutions for recruitment advertising as well as domestic and international media placements.
Maz and Aligned Communications are proud partners, providing Nuuvo-B2E clients with traditional and digital media buying and placement expertise, both domestically and abroad.
